Does talking to an AI teach it anything?

A common worry is that every conversation with an AI trains it, so your private details end up inside the model. For the models My2AI uses, that is not how it works.

Training and using are separate

Training happens before a model is released. Once it is running, its weights are frozen. When you send a message, the model reads it, writes a reply, and nothing about the model itself changes. The next person gets exactly the same model you did.

So how does it remember you?

It does not, on its own. Any memory has to be supplied with each request. In My2AI, that memory lives on your phone: your routines, trip history, email summaries, and past conversations are stored encrypted on the device. When you ask something, the app sends only the pieces needed for that one answer.

What our server keeps

Our server keeps your account, credit balance, settings, and usage counts, such as "one talk exchange, Morning Co-Pilot, 7:18 AM." It never stores the content of your conversations or your email. Anthropic, which provides the Claude model, does not train on API data by default.
